Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road
City Air Express carries out all its transport activities under the conditions of the CMR Convention (Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road).
These conditions apply to all transports carried out by City Air Express, both national and international, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
The liability of City Air Express is limited in accordance with the provisions of the CMR Convention. For loss or damage to goods, the carrier is liable up to a maximum of 8.33 SDR (Special Drawing Rights) per kilogram gross weight of the lost or damaged goods.
In case of delay in delivery, the carrier is liable for damage resulting from the delay, up to a maximum of the amount of freight charges.
For each transport, a consignment note is drawn up in accordance with CMR provisions. This consignment note serves as proof of receipt of the goods and of the conditions of carriage.

All legal actions arising from carriage under the CMR Convention are time-barred after one year, calculated from the day the goods were delivered or should have been delivered.
For the carriage of dangerous goods, fragile goods or goods of special value, additional conditions apply which must be agreed in writing in advance.
City Air Express advises clients to take out additional transport insurance for goods with a value exceeding CMR liability limits.
